Banking as a career is one of the the good career option for those who wish to make their career in the Banking and Finance sector and who also aspires to make a career in the Government Sector. Banking in India is rapidly growing due to the policies like Rural Banking etc. Many of the employees of the Banks are going to get retired from the Banks and so the New recruitments and expansions of the Banks are providing a lot many job opportunities as Clerk,PO,Law Officer,IT officer etc.
One who wants to become a Bank PO officer needs to meet the eligibility criteria . Earlier the Bank recruitment was done by the Bank Recruitment Board but now many of the recruitment are done through the IBPS. For PO there are two types of exams SBI PO exams are for those who wish to make a career in the SBI and IBPS PO is for the rest of the Government Banks. One can decide as per their will which exam they wish to give.
The Eligibility is as follows for both the PO exams is as follows-
1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from a Recognised University from any stream except Fine arts.
2. Should be an India
3. Age 20 to 30 years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST; 3 years age relaxation for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
There is no percentage criteria. As Bank PO is a officer post you need to have a Graduation degree, on the 12th basis you are not eligible for the Bank PO exams. Complete your Graduation and than you can apply for the Bank PO Exams as per your wish.
