Union Public Service Commission also known as UPSC is an exam conducted by the central government of India . This is exam is conducted for the candidates who aspires to make their career in the Government Sector and who like to serve the Society and the Country. UPSC exam is also known as the Mother of All Exams as it is considered one of the tough exam to crack and get through. UPSC conducts the exam for various posts like IAS.IFS,IES,IPS,IRS etc.

A candidate who aspires to go for the UPSC exam needs to meet the following eligibilty criteria-

1.A candidate who has completed a Graduation Degree from any stream from a recognised university or is in the last year of the degree and is awaiting for the results is eligible to appear for the exam.

2.The Age limit for General Category is 32 years with 6 attempts to the exam; OBC category candidate age limit is 35 years with 9 attempts to  the exam and for SC/ST candidate the age limit is 37 years with no restrictions for the attempt.

3. The candidate should be a citizen of India in case if you are applying for the post of Indian Administrative Service(IAS) or Indian Police Service (IPS).

4. For other services a candidate can be citizen of Nepal,Bhutan or a refugee of Tibet who has come to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention to settle permanently in India.

5.A person of Indian Origin who have migrated from Pakistan,Burma,East African Countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India can also apply for the UPSC exam.

SO definitely you are eligible to apply for the UPSC exam provided you are in the last year of your degree course.
