Hi Rahul,

Please note that anyone at any point of time, can have an interest in computers.

But the most important criteria to understand right now, is whether you wish to make a career in hardware or is it just for knowledge sake.

If knowledge sake, then you could experiment or catch up with a hardware guy in your area and get updated. But if it is from a career point of view, then pursuing a course is essential.

You could pursue an MCA course which is a 3 years post graduation course. Any graduate can pursue this course, but must have studied math in 12th or at the Graduate level.

Here i would suggest, if possible first get yourself a certificate course in networking from private computer institutes that would give you an idea as to where you stand and whether you could invest in the MCA course later on.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...
