Career In Banking is an respectable career. Banking Industry is a Service industry that has been growing day by day very rapidly. various government policies they have been concentrating to develop the rural areas of the country and so for this banks are needed to reach out in the rural areas. Due to such policies their has been an expansion of the Banking Sector on a large scale.This has lead to the rise in the career opportunities in the Banking Sector.
There are two types of examination conducted for the post of Clerk ,candidates whoo wish to make their career in the SBI bank they need to give na SBI Clerk Exam whereas those who wish to make a career in the rest of the Government Banks i.e 21 Banks they need to give the IBPS Clerk exam. The eligibility criteria for both exams is as follows.
In order to apply for any of the Bank Clerk exams following is the eligibility as per the recent notification-
1. A candidate must be a graduate from any stream from a recognised university or a student who is in final year of graduation and is waiting for the result can also give an examination.
2. Natioanlity- Indian.
3. Age- 20 to 30 Years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST;3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Disabled.
On 12th std completion you do not get eligible for the Clerk exam you need to meet the above criteria.
