Does the academic record matter while looking for a job of Editor?

Hi Sanjna,

Interesting question, but really speaking this is very subjective.\

Initially ofcourse, when it is your first job, your academics are taken into account.

But looking at the nature of the job, I mean as an editor, one needs to be able to communicate their viewpoints.

Exams are also means to communicate ones ideas. So what better way to judge an editors capacity, other than their academic records.

Wish you good luck.........

Dear Aspirant,

It is a truth that ultimately what matters is what and how you do in the interview.

However to qualify for interview, you need a ticket to enter the employer and therefore, a qualification is a must. Further shortlisting is definitely done on the basis of qualification and grades prima facie.

Therefore academic record including internships done, projects done are important.

Best wishes
