Practically and industry wise, choosing another course apart from MBA, MA will not give you a good career progression. Since ultimately industry demands such qualifications which are useful to them in respect of knowledge.
After BA Economics, you can do almost any course as already listed by my colleague in the previous reply.
I would recommend you to concentrate on IAS preparation and not divert your attention elsewhere. Its very good that you are taking coaching for the IAS preparation.
