The day of a choreographer is very exciting, and often quite busy. The day begins early as they have to check the plans for the day and schedule various activities accordingly. They meet the clients as per the schedule and understand the purpose of their dance. That helps them in deciding the steps and flow of the whole performance. Once the discussion is over they proceed to work on the dance steps and guide the dancers and try to bring perfection in the movements. They have to practice it multiple times and same is expected from the dancers. The whole day observes many such sessions and is often quite tiring.

Watch the video below - It depicts the day in the life ofScott Fordham, who is a professional choreographer.

Some choregraphers also take dance classes at their places or some other venue. Generally these are the evening classes, meant for students and professionals. Besides being a good source of income, it also helps them in enjoying with new people. During the free time, they enhance their learnings by understanding and practising new dance forms. The job is fun, if you have right passion for it.
