To sum up, here is list of activities that a writer does in day to day life:

  • They have to check the emails and provide the updates to the stakeholders about the progress of their assignment.

  • Research is an important part of a writer's work and it takes a lot of time. They have to gather the important resources from whichthey can extract the information. They have to dig in to the details so that meaningful information can be provided.

  • As a writer, one has to read a lot. That too a variety of stuff. This not only adds to the knowledge of a writer but also helps them building new style of writing.

  • They write the assignments they are working on and do that with great care and focus.

  • They need to express the ideas and thoughts very clearly, making sure the reader understands everything easily.

  • They take breaks at regular intervals.

  • They coordinate with editors and other team members to complete the writing process.

  • Quite often they have to travel also, sometimes to meet the clients, sometimes to do primary research.

  • They update the concerned person through emails and phone calls about the progress of their work.

  • They have to keep a note of the work every day.
