Law is very different field my friend, it will hardly matters if you take science or arts in your 12 class. Because throughout the LLB you will not come across a single subject which is related to a Science background or arts background. So once you complete your 12 class, science or arts is not going to help you. So if you feel that you are good at science and very much interested in it, i think you should take science should stick with your desire.

Further, as far as the LLB is concerned, once you complete your 12th standard, try to get an admission in a 5 years LLB course in any of the Nationalize University. 5 Years LLB consist of 10 semester and each semester will have 7 to 8 subjects. 3rd and 4th are the toughest year.

In order to become a good lawyer or in order to get a good job after completing your LLB there few things you will need to do while doing your LLB and that is what I am going to advice you here so please read it carefully.

Throughout your LLB, in each semester make sure you do at least one diploma course or a certificate course in any of the Law subject available in your university, it may be any of these: Diploma in Cyber Laws, Intellectual Property law, Legal Writing, Contract Drafting, Business Law, Mergers and acquisitions etc..etc..

Along with this make sure that in every vacation you attend any of the lawyer's office and try to learn the practical side of the legal field because whatever you learn in the LLB gives you the knowledge about the laws but not the knowledge about the practical aspects of the Lawyer. And in real life only practical aspects will take you further rather than the book knowledge or the different laws you know.

To make a career in law , we would recmmend you to take up Arts in class 11. You can opt for any subject combination. However it will be great if you can take up Economics, Political Science & Psychology . After class 12 you have to undergo a common law admission test to seek admission in five years integrated law course. However I would strongly recommend you to get your psycxhometric assessment done in order to make an informed career decision.
