There is no compulsion of doing a B.Com if you want to pursue an LLB. Anybody who is having a graduate degree can get an admission in LLB degree. The only requirement is to have a Graduate Degree to enroll in LLB.

If you do not want to do a graduation and you want to take an admission direct in LLB then that is also possible now and you can do so after completing your 12th standard.

There are two different ways to get an LLB admission. One is if you have a graduate degree you can get an admission for an LLB. This will it will take 6 years of your life to become an Advocate.

Second is, after completing your 12th get an admission direct in LLB. This course is an integrated course which covers your graduation as well as LLB. And the good thing about this course is this is just a 5 years course. So ultimately you are saving one year of life by taking admission in 5 years LLB course.

Generally it takes 6 years if you take an admission in LLB after completing your Graduation. But by doing this course you can complete your LLB + Graduation in just 5 years and you save 1 year of your life.

Since this 5 years LLB Degree courses are integrated courses it completes your graduation as well as LLB in just 5 years. If you fail in any of the 1 year, eventually you will pass your LLB in 6 years only. so you have a 1 year in spare in case anything happens, one years saved can be utilize anywhere in your future.

There are many law schools as well as university in India now days who offered this 5 years integrated LLB course. All the universities have different different degree names, Like Pune university gives degree as BSL.LLB and BALLB.

This 5 years integrated course is very well recognized and most of the institutions or corporate houses are preferring candidates who have this 5 years LLB degree. The value of 5 years LLB course is more than the value of 3 years LLB course.
