Dear friend, many thanks for your question and I am happy to reply it through Meracareerguide.com. Since you have completed your BSc in medical laboratory technology. You have not mentioned the duration of this course. To the best my knowledge this course is of three and half (six month internship) years. In USA the degree courses are of four years. Therefore, technically you will face difficulty in searching for a job of laboratory technician. If you get a job in USA as medical laboratory technician, then the salary structure will be low around $ 38,000 per annum.

In my opinion, you should do post graduation in medical laboratory technician from any Indian university. This will give you more exposure in the field of medical laboratory technology. You will have more hands on training on instruments. This will also give you more theoretical knowledge about the subject. You will be able to conceptualize the new ideas related to your field. After passing your post graduation course in medical laboratory technology you will have better job opportunities in India itself. Therefore, you should try for job experience here in India. The experience you will gain here will be helpful for you seek job opportunity in USA.
Private Questions

After post graduation and some experience you will get a better job up to $ 55,000 to $75,000 per annum. There are various ways to explore the possibilities of medical laboratory technology in USA. You may directly write key words in google and search. In federal government job in USA the main hindrance will be the citizenship. But initially you may try to seek job in private company. There you can gain USA experience and after some years you will be eligible for green card. Then you will be technically eligible for federal job in USA.

If you wish to study more, then after post graduation, you opt for doctoral degree in medical laboratory technology. This will really open great job opportunities for you in academic (colleges and universities) as well as private or multinational companies. The experience of academic in university here, will give you new job avenues in USA universities.

To get a job in USA is not that easy, but you should make yourself educationally as well as technically eligible. There are jobs available on net, just choose right word, select the job and apply.

With all my best wishes,

Good Luck...
