What are you qualified in currently. Kindly let us know.
You need to accept a job which comes your way and not wait for brand companies to offer you jobs. You can start your programming career by joining a mid sized or startup companies, which give you the necessary exposure for work and building work experience.
Later you can then switch to brand companies.
Best wishes
I have completed my MCA. After that i have worked for a private organization. I do not have exposure to programming, Now I cant keep that experience. So what can i do? How do we come to know about small companies??
Thank you
Hi There,
To be working in a relevant position major requirement is educational qualification.Which according to me I see is appropriate.
Now comes experience, which as Dr.Anand has rightly said you need to work in the programming area
Currently opting for big names is not appropriate as they may require experience and may not entertain freshers.
To know about vacancies, firstly why dont you try your luck in the organization you were working for???Secondly, you can post your resume on various job portals like Naukri, timesjob etc.
Other than that in case of references, you can take help of them too.
Other than that, a google search can also be of help to you.
You can get a list of organizations and then post your resume on their website, at their career page.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
You definitely need to upload your resume on top three job portals viz. Monsterindia.com, Timesjobs.com and Naukri.com
By this you will get auto mailers suggesting your job vacancies. Start as early as possible in a mid sized company. By joining a new company you will have gain more experience.
Thanks for writing to us!
Do you want to make career in programming? or just want to switch the job?
I would recommend you to do some certificate courses on programming that will help you. There are may institutes that offer regular as well as distance courses. Many companies provides online courses.
You can start applying for the job and take up the job.
Postgraduate study: You can do post graduation. PGs are in demand.
Best wishes,Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
