The talk got disconnected in the middle. So writing it here.
As discussed, I would not suggest, waiting a year and preparing for a re-exam or improvement exam for HSC again in 2017.
I would rather prefer that you continue with your studies, and side by side if you wish you could reappear for the HSC exam, but there is no guarantee of your score, keeping in mind that you put in your 100%.
You were saying, you are not interested in continuing in science and would like to shift into commerce. Yes, you could shift to commerce. But please note that in the 1st year B.Com, you would face difficulty when it comes to subjects like accounts. For the basics you would have to join classes, as you have missed the foundation course (11th and 12th).
So earlier the preparations, better for you.
Other options, you could think of after 12th, includes:

Though its a bit late, but better late than never. If possible undergo an Aptitude test or career counseling test, available here at mera career too. The test would reveal your potentials and aptitude and hence will help you make a choice based on your skills. Send the report to me or counselors here at mera career and get accurate answers.
