Since you have just mentioned ICMA, and not said anything about being a Graduate and working.
I assume you are a gradute and are working.
If not, then I would suggest, opt for working and gain experience and that will help you choose further studies based on the industry demand and your line of interest too.
In-case you are working, and wish to pursue an MBA, then decide whether fulltime or through correspondence.
If fulltime, then you would have to quit working. But before that appear for various entrance exams like CAT for IIM's, CET for other institutes, NMAT for Narsee Monjee and SAT for Symbiosis and XAT for Xaviers Institute of Management studies.
After the exam, comes the group discussion and personal Interview. For GD, do a lot of reading followed by discussions with family or colleagues, who can help you. Make a set of usual questions that can be asked during personal interview and prepare yourself accordingly.
If you opt for correspondence, a minimum of 3 years work experience is a must. Few Institutes only opt for GD and PI for their admissions, whereas some opt for entrance exams followed by GD and PI.

Hope you are sure that an MBA will help you.
If you are a fresher CMA, it would more better to work in the core costing field before choosing MBA course.
I would suggest MBA after taking atleast 3 years of work experience. Please do not think that MBA is a must after a professional course too. MBA if done at the right time of the career, it makes more sense, else it will be just a paper degree.
MBA Finance would be a good choice for you later after having work experience as a Costing Expert. You may choose Executive MBA where there would be a general entrance test and GD/PI. Ensure you select a very good Institute for MBA.
