If I don't belong to a premier Engineering College, what companies should I target as a Finance Manager?

Give more insights on it

I am not able to understand why as an Engineer you would like to go to a finance sector. Engineering degree is not relevant to the finance field unless you pursue a good post graduation in finance, economics, mathematics, etc. An MBA in Finance, Masters in Finance Management, etc will help you to gain an entry into the finance field. There is no relevance whether you have done your engineering from a premier institute or not, since it is not a parameter for a finance job. I would like to suggest you reconsider your decision to go to finance sector. Since you are an engineer basically, there are tremendous job and enterpreneurship opportunities related to your engineering. One growing area is of Project and Construction Management which is best suited for an engineer from any field, but preferably from a Civil, Mechanical and Electrical field. Project Management is a fantastic area to work in as you can become a complete infrastructure or constructio or engineergin professional

. Project Management certifications are given by PMI USA which are recognised globally and its a license which can be renewed every five years. CAPM and PMP are the two major certifications of PMI which are best suited for engineers like you. Best Luck
