Hey Dear,

In Today's time when the economy is so much unstable and many people loosing their jobs freshers are bound to divert towards government sector jobs that offer security and stability both at the same time.

Dear if you have to opt for a branch of engineering solely because of the money and security and the on the basis of the demand in that branch of engineering in the government sector then it has to be either Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. There are many jobs opening for these branches in the government sector and people who are willing to to go for government jobs can opt for any one of these branches.

After completing your engineering you can either go for giving various other exams like the Civil Services exam or the Public Service Commission Exam of the various states or the state that you are living in. So it is your choice of the exam you want to give.

There are also an Engineering Exam also you can give which is also the IES or the Indian Engineering Exam which will help you find a job in the engineering field as well.

Though all these exams are very tough to crack and require a lot of effort is required from your side but I am pretty sure that if you will prepare and work hard towards it you will definitely crack the exam. But consistent effort is required for it.

But i really have a doubt in mind as to are you interested in the fields that i have mentioned earlier. Many a times we opt for careers looking are the external factors like the money, job security, or even what our parents want but never get a chance to think what we want to do. I don't really want you to miss this chance and introspect what you what to do.

Best Wishes!
