Banking career is gaining a popularity day by day these days. Many of the students have been aspiring to make their career in the Banking Sector for various Banking Posts like Clerk,PO,SO etc. Banking career is one of the fastest growing sector after Computers and IT in the recent times. The government Banks have been expanding there business now in the Rural and the Semi Urban Areas of the Country whereas there are also the Private Banks who are also giving a tough competition to the Public Banks.


Bank PO is higher designation offered in the Government Banking Sector. Bank PO exam is conducted for the students who are Graduates. There are two types of Bank PO exam conducted.

The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.

The Bank PO recruitment for the year of 2016 notifications have been announced in the year 2015 and now there are going to be only the exams conducted for the same. you cannot apply for these examinations. However you can apply for the Bank PO exams for year 2016-17.

The notifications of any bank are not released yet.
