There are few aspects that you have to keep in mind while deciding to pursue your career as an Architect in India or abroad:

1. A lot will depend on your educational background. If you got your degree from India then you would easily get jobs in India. If your degree is from abroad let's say USA, then your preferred job destination would be USA both in terms of compatibility of work and compensation.

2. If you talk about opportunities. They are in huge numbers both in India and abroad. If you have a degree in Architecture you will get a decent job anywhere. Of course the reputation of your university will matter a lot.

3. Since India is still developing and the infrastructure sector is growing there will be more opportunities here compared to a developed country. The number of projects in the sector are increasing.

4. Going by the levels of creativity, you will have lesser options in India compared to a country like USA.

5. The compensation in country like USA is far more than what you will get in India. However please consider the high cost of living in such countries.
