Hi Pragya,

Hey... it's not the case; instead the job demand in the industry is going to rise in a very short time. Though it can be said that its scope in India is a little less in comparison to the foreign countries but is not at all true that there are no chances of placement. It is possible that your college might not be offering it to you. You can anyways look for opportunities yourself as well.

There is no need to lose confidence in that context, as there are so many people who do not get campus placement and are still in very good jobs today. You will definitely be able to get a good job for yourself, as there is a huge demand of people with Bsc/Msc In biotechnology in today's time.

Hope you will get motivated with this and there is even no need to get dishearten when there are actually a lot of job opportunities. The major Biotechnology Companies in India are- All India Biotech Association (AIBA), New Delhi, Biotech Consortium India Limited, New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology, Kerala (RGCB) etc.....

Apply in these companies when your course is over. And I am definitely sure you will definitely get a job.

Best of luck!
