Hello My Dear...

Reading the word 'Actuaries' made me feel good and proud for you and also that you have cleared the two exams for it. I appreciate this very much and congratulate you for this. Keep it up! I am glad that you approached us at CareerGuide.com for seeking future career guidance and I am extremely happy to see your attitude to get additional knowledge and become more employable.

Firstly, since you have cleared two exams of Actuarial science course already, this denotes that you have the required capability and competence to be an 'Actuary'. In India there are only 4% of Actuaries compared to their demand and students today do not opt for such kind of tough course like you have done. So compliments to you for opting for such a tough course. I am sure you will succeed in it.

Undergoing courses in SAS, VBA may be required but not very much necessary at this stage when you have not completed the Actuaries course. My Dear, the most important thing I would suggest is NOT to lose focus and get diverted and go behind acquiring other qualifications.

The stage in which you are in currently, requires focus and determination and dedication. I would like you NOT to opt for any other course and try completing the Actuaries course in least number of years and time.

SAS, VBA can also be learnt on the job and always remember that these applications are tools and not the source. Your domain expertise is the most important and these applications only will help you to complete your work faster, but your domain knowledge is a must.

Companies are infact behind Actuaries qualified candidates in India simply because candidates like you are RARE.

Best Luck My Dear....
