Its one of the demanding career and many students think of making a career in this field. With statistics one can either make an career in public sector or Private sector. the working areas for statistics could be - Finance,IT,Medical,Pharmacy,Sports etc.
There are many public agencies like Indian Statistical Services who hire the professionals while the Private sector companies like HP,TCS etc hires the Statisticians and there are also scope to work with foreign organisations in the field of Statistics.
