AFMC, i.e. Armed Forces Medical College, Pune is a center for excellence and research in medical sciences which provides training to undergraduate, Post-graduate and Nursing students. After getting admission here in AFMC, you will be trained in medical sciences thoroughly and qualitatively to serve afterward in defense services. The MBBS course spans four and half years which follows an internship of one year. You are supposed to serve as a commissioned officer in Armed Forces Medical services which is compulsory for which you have to sign a bond at the time of admission. Total strength of admissions is 130 of which 105 will be boys and 25 will be girls.
