Congratulations for completing your B.Tech in competitive science.  Students of computer Science have many career opportunities in the private sector as well as in the government sector.  Students who aspire to work with the challenges for them private sector is the best career option.  Whereas if you have an interest to serve the society than government sector is best career option.  It’s completely the individual’s choice in which sector they witch to work they wish to work and wants to make a career.  As you wish to make a career in the government there are many career opportunities in it: you can apply for the civil service exams conducted by the UPSC board every year for the post of IES, IFS, IRS, IPS etc. whereas you can also make a career in the defense sector i.e. Army, Navy or Air Force by giving and qualifying the common Defense Service exam.  As you have the computer Science degree you can also make a career in the banking field as the specialist officer of IT.  For specialist officer in Banks you will need to quality the IBPS specialist officer exam.  You can also apply for the Railway department exam.  Whereas you also get eligible to apply for the State Government exams also.  You can also join various other government departments like Agriculture, weather, Town planning etc. by qualifying the respective exams. You can also apply for the Staff Selection exam.
