Many a times students just get admitted to various law colleges to pursue their 5 years after 12th or 3 years law after Graduation. Very few students take a glance what will be their future after completing the course i.e what job prospects they will be getting,what job profile exactly they will have? Before choosing a career in Law one must think about its pros and cons like:1. What is the course exactly i am taking admission for?2. How this will help me?3. What i want to do after completing this course?Law is a 360 degree career. where a candidate can be of any stream in order to opt the course.Today ,Law has been used immensely in all fields of profession so definitely their is an increasing demand for Lawyers in all Sectors of the Various Industries. After completing Law one has to choose whether he wants to practice Law in Courts or want to get into Corporate Law. So again while practicing Law in Courts you have two options to do the practise :
1.Criminal Law
2.Civil Law
If the candidate is planning to practice law in corporate or want to become a corporate lawyer than the candidate must study subjects related to Corporate Laws. So, going with courses like BBA.LLB ;BA.LLB etc will be always beneficial.

After the completion of bachelors degree in law,there is a wide scope for law graduates in various sectors viz. Government and Private. Various Law Institutes now have campus placements for the final year students. The students may also get placed in various Foreign Comapnies.
The Job Prospects after completing Law in Corporates are as follows:
1.Corporate Solicitor
2.Legal Advisor in Banks
3.Law Reporter
4.Legal Assistant
5.IP Lawyer
6.Can join Law Firms
7.LPO ( Legal Processing Outsource)

After completing Law you can go with short term courses in Merger and Acquisition,IPR ( Intellectual Property Rights),Arbitration etc. These courses will create good opportunities for you in the corporate world.
If you are interested to work in Banking and Insurance Sector you can give exams of OMBUDSMAN and can become OMBUDSMAN.
CS( Company Secretary) alongwith Law will be an added flavour to boost your Career.You can even startup your own Law Firm or can work as Independent Consultant.
