Hello aspirant

Thank you for contacting counsellors at Mera career guide you have arrived at the right platform to seek advice. Do not worry, pcb has a great great option of careers. Before that why do you like management subjects? Ask yourself. Please study management only if you are truly interested in it and not for the sake of your friends doing it or someone asking you to do it.

PCB has a variety of options in India. With a pcb you can do BSc Physics, chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Micro biology, Bio chemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, agriculture, Forest science, nutrition, dietics, animal science, food science, veterinary, medicine, dental and many more. recently the homeopathy, ayurveda, pharmacy and physiotherapy are also gaining great momentum in India for its well grown medical facilities and the continuous need of patients. You can also choose to study Psychology and be a clinical psychologist if you like.

Lots of students get attracted to the word management / MBA for glamourous reasons and simply like to do MBA. So I advice you to study Management subjects only if you like. If you really like business and management then ask yourself why you like it and also do a mind mapping to ask yourself with this subject where will you be likely after 5-10 years from now. I also advice you to take a personality assessment available from this CareerGuide.com website. It will help you understand if you really like management subject and if your personality suits it. This will actually direct you to pursue the right option and not run into wrong options. So please spend a few minutes to know your personality type and the suited profession.

If you still hold your interest into management or hr, then consider doing BBA degree. It is a three year bachelors degree and you can choose HR as one of the main elective from this degree. Affter completing your BBA, you can work as an entry level hr role in corporates. In case you like to explore other subjects of management, you can also choose shipping management as your elective from your BBA degree. Not all universities run shipping management and you need to carefully find the universities that give this course.

Dear Aspirant,

How did you get to know while studying in Science stream, about the commerce subjects? Is anyone advising you to join commerce subjects and courses just because that particular person has done that or doing it?

All the career options which you have mentioned are way different than each other.

I think you should think seriously, what you want to do in career life?

To be best sure of what suits you for your career, I would suggest you to undergo the Ideal Career Test an online psychometric test from CareerGuide which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which career is ideal for you.
You can then call counsellors to discuss.

Best wishes!
