The working hours of Business Analyst depends on the company they are working in and the kind of clients they are working with. Please find the below information to understand their work time:

  • In most of the companies, Business Analysts work for nine hours. This doesn't mean that every day they will be working for exact same time. It can vary depending on the urgency of the project. It's the average.
  • The companies these days offer flexible work hours which means that the Business Analyst can work any time as per his/her convenience provided they are working in accordance with the team and have the approvals from the management.
  • Since most of the times, Business Analysts work with US or Europe based clients, they have to arrange meetings as per client's convenience. Which means there may be meetings early in the day or late at night.
  • They may have to work in the night shifts also if they are coordinating with the clients. But companies often taken in to consideration your priorities as well. They are not going to force you for a night shift, if you are not comfortable.
  • They have to work usually five days a week.
  • In some cases. companies also let you work from home if you are not comfortable in traveling to the office. This option is provided for certain period of time only.
