According to the UGC NET guidelines, exam is divided into two papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 is common for all subjects.
It consists Reasoning Ability,Comprehension Reading, General Awareness and Mental Ability etc. Candidates have to score minimum 40% aggregate marks to qualify the UGC NET Paper 1.
