Cashier
is a very broad term and a cashier deals with money transaction related thing like collecting money, disbursing money and other related things etc. you can find cashier in each store and shops for payments. cashier is always a human being. he is only related to cash dealings of various sizes no other thing. Cashier works with only cash transaction and teller is for all type of transaction.








Teller
is a person who handles a cash related things in bank and is generally found in banks as this is the term used for cashier in a bank. Teller deals directly with the customers coming to bank, they are the front line in the banking business as they are first person to meet the bank customers handling with money so it involves keeping check of fraudulent, currency forfeiting, identity check and theft etc. They do work like money with drawl, deposits, money transfers, wire transfers,cheque encashing, saving bonds, resolving customer issues also some times. teller can be a machine also like ATM is a automatic teller machine doing same job.teller generally have more experience than cashier.
