For becoming certified stock broker , one needs to pass a certification exam. In order to take the exam one needs to have experience of minimum four months in brokerage firm. National stock exchange and Bombay stock exchange offers various certified courses in this field.

The career prospects in the field of stock broking are very bright for those who are qualified to handle the business and possess required personality traits to cope with it, there is no dearth of employment opportunities.

One can work as a dealer or an analyst ( to be an analyst , one needs to be a MBA or CA)
