The average pay for a average security analyst is most probably between the pay package of four to five lakhs per annum. but gradually with experience you can move into high scale pay and position in the same field, the highest pay package offered in this field is to skills associated with job of security risk management and information security and infra structure people and the rate of job satisfaction is very high in this sector or we can say that four out f every five person is highly satisfied with their job.
But again pay will very from company to company, sector to sector either public or private, with position to position
you need to give your designation to know the correct answer and specific pay package of a security analyst job
As so many positions are there like lead IT security analyst, senior security operational analyst, system security analyst, siem security analyst, IT security analyst, senior security information analyst etc.
With the growing cyber attacks the demand of security analyst is growing high in the market, as certain set of skills will always increase your value in the market like CISCO certfication will get you a hike of seven percent every year.
