Cyber Crime is a very important area today for careers and innovation. With the advent of the fast changing technologies all over India and simultaneously increasing anti-nation element minds to break or destroy or make people suffer in losses and damages, cyber crime is gaining wide importance and so the nature of laws and regulations for monitoring and controlling cyber crime and theft is also increasing.




As mentioned earlier, Cyber Crime is on rise with advancement in the technology and therefore companies and individuals are taken all the necessary care to remain away from the crime and to be safe.


Cyber Crime Law is now becoming a specialised area for career for many.




You mentioned that you have completed BE in IT and now wish to look for MTech or PGD in Cyber Crime. I think you are referring to Cyber Crime Law. how to do Cyber Crime and how a cyber crime is actually done is not taught any where. Another area related to this Ethical Hacking. However Ethical Hacking courses are available in the form of short term certificate courses and not in MTech or PGD.




Considering your IT engineering background and if you wish to do your career in cyber crime, then you should pursue LLB first and then a course in Cyber Law. Doing LLB for doing career cyber law, will permanently change and shift your career and it would not then remain related to engineering in any way.




There is no MTech available in Cyber Crime / Law etc.




I suggest you to think once more before taking a decision to pursue cyber crime law as a career. May you should go a psychometric assessment which will exactly tell you your interests and competence areas on the basis on which you can decide your career path and education course.

Cyber Crime is a new subject and it's demand will be increasing day by day as now the age is techno based age-no one can imagine life without net connection- people become habituated to saty online almost 24 hrs-they like to purchase from online-anything from daily utilities to luxury goods people love purchasing being net connected as it is less laborious and time consuming.



Even in drawing money they like to have ATM services than going to bank and providing requisition slip at the counter-even in purchasing anything people depend on plastic money than carrying papers in the pocket.


As life changes the crime also changes-cyber crime is a new type of crime that requires doers to have thorough knowledge about technology. So this is upcoming subject which has no existence some days ago.

Students who has B.Tech degree can deal with the cyber crime in speclization or M Tech/PGDiploma. Scope is high and increasing in future.

Technology makes the life to run smooth and hassle free; at the same time more privileges invite more disadvantages with it. so studying Cyber crime has many benefit in professional life.
