Hi, Thanks for your query, this is really very interesting and most FAQs. You already are software engineer. You have not mentioned anything about your experience, so i assume you are a fresher or recently joined.

whenever a fresher joins IT company, he or she will start the career as a tester, developer or support person. Developer and Tester have more chances to become Data Architect. there is no particular qualification needed for this designation but the most important thing that matters is your experience. A minimum of 4-5 years experience as a developer is needed in order to become a data architect. you have to be very good in programming else its very difficult to survive as data architect is like captain of the ship and he is the one who represents your team or company and faces the clients directly. Its the best career one can go for. IT is booming and will boom in near future as technology is changing in a blink. So first get the knowledge of the project in which you are working and develop your programming skills then only you can become a successful Data Architect. Learn all possible languages in computers. All the best !! Thanks Rachit
