Best Luck Rahul!
Hello Rahul,
Internships will increase your chances of graduate job recruitment and I would strongly advice you to make use of such opportunities. To begin with, 1. Have a well drafted CV and well written cover letter. 2. Look up for companies' websites using Google ( https://www.google.co.in/). Try writing emails to the HR's if their email address is listed on the website. Otherwise, you may also directly make a phone call to the HR department to inquire for summer internship opportunities3. Post in your CV on their recruitment database. Most companies will allow prospective candidates to upload their resume on their website itself. If there is any such provision, please upload yours so that it directly goes into the recruitment database system. 4. Networking: Try networking with people on LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/uas/log). LinkedIn is where you can find contacts of many HR associated with Production or manufacturing companies. Send in a message to the HR's on LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/uas/login), requesting for internship opportunities. 5. Upload your CV on Naukri ( www.naukri.com/), Monster ( www.monsterindia.com/), Timesjobs ( www.timesjobs.com/), Shine ( www.shine.com/), Freshersplanet ( www.freshersplane.com/), IIM Jobs ( www.iimjobs.com/) and many other recruitment websites. Recruiters will contact you if they find you suitable.6. Word of mouth: Talk to anyone you know working in Manufacturing or Production companies and let them know you are looking for internship opportunities. Sometimes these employees can also help your CV at the right hand within the company. 7. Recruitment consultancy: Approach consultancies in your city, requesting for internship opportunities. Mafoi ( www.mafoistrategy.com/) is one well established consultancy and well known in India. Likewise approach as many consultancies as you can to hand in your resume and they can easily identify suitable positions for you. Hope this helps. All the best.
