Basically Ridham Communication engineer one can become in two ways by taking admission either to -
1.Electrical and Communication Engineering
2.Electric and Communication Engineering

On the Successful completion of Engineering course from any of the course above mentioned than the person is called as the communication engineer.

Communication Engineers work within a number of industries ,including internet and computing technologies ,networking and telecommunications and radio.While some engineers they concentrate on applying the technical knowledge,while other focuses on managerial activities.Many posts include both the elements managerial and technical responsibilities.

The technical side deals with using the specialist knowledge to design and deliver solutions,as well as providing technical guidance to others within the employing organistion. While Managerial responsibilities include planning and managing projects,ensuring that they are delieverd on time.

The typical work activities of Communication Engineer can be as follows:-

  • Technical Work Activities-
  • Carrying Site Surveys
  • negotiating product requirements with the customers
  • providing technical guidance to colleagues and other teams
  • testing theoretical designs
  • analysing and interpreting data to inform your work
  • finding creative solutions to the challeneges of network designing,mobile communications,data service requirements,and internet and network signalling protocols.
  • attending conferences and seminars to network and keep up to date with the latest developments in the sector
  • arranging process meetings

Managerial Work Activities-

  • managing resources including budget,physical resources and staff
  • managing projects and attending regular meetings to discuss the best way to move projects forward
  • attending briefings on new networks and new products
  • participating in conference calls & meetings to discuss products,action plans and team performance.
  • preparing reports & presentations for management and customer review

Relation between computer science engineering and communication engineering-

There is a slight relation between these two. For some aspects they are similar with each other.Computer science engineering deals with the theoretical aspect like algorithms,programming (high level), numerical computing etc.So they are similar to deigning,theory and implementation to some extent.
