Vivek: Please brief us about your Educational background.

Vivek: What has your time as a Career Counsellor meant to you personally and why?

Tushar: It is not easy to mentor and guide someone especially for their career choice. I have personally mentored, conducted career counseling sessions to guide 1500+ students in the last 5 years. It really feels great and inner satisfaction when students thank you for the suggestions and guidance.

Vivek: How did you get into Career Counselling? What interested you into Career Counselling?

Tushar: I always felt that students in non-metro cities are not exposed to the plethora of career options available and due to absence of proper career guidance choose the wrong path and regret later.

Vivek: Which tools do you use for guiding careers?

Tushar: In the past, mostly face to face sessions but now more efficient and better options are available. Thanks to internet and Careerguide.com

Vivek: Why do you think it’s important for students and parents to undergo Career Counselling together?

Tushar: Parents need to explore the new arenas and see what best suits their wards. Career counseling is very much needed in the hour of competition and ever changing world. You should be aware of the future scope of the career you are opting. Many times, parents have one career plan in their mind and the student desires for something else. It is very important that the parents and students together discuss all the available option in detail in the presence of a career counselor.
