UPPSC stands for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission which is conducting body for various civil service examinations. It is an entry-level appointment of various groups of civil services of Uttar Pradesh. Selected public service commission officers via the UPPSC exam can also be promoted to be IAS officers. The working of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is regulated by UP public service commission regulation.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must be aware of the eligibility criteria to attend the examination. The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject from any recognized University.

Every year more than lakh candidates appear for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) examination. While the competition is very tough but with smart study one can score very well. Candidates must prepare and study in detail for their preliminary exam and the main exam then only they will be able to qualify successfully.

7. There is no time limit on how much you should study but your focus should rather be on quality. You should study at least 6 to 8 hours daily so that you will be able to cover all the subjects and important points.

8. As negative marking has been introduced in the UPPSC exam one should not be lazy it is very important to memorize all the facts and figures with accuracy.

9. For general science go through school textbooks from classes 6 to 12.

10. Reading about the political system must be a priority.

11. Candidate must categorize syllabus into a proper timetable and follow it.

14. After completing the entire subjects candidate must keep at least one month in hand for doing their final revision. It is very important before exams. It is highly good if you revise everything multiple times.
