B.Sc. Mathematics Admissions Process

The admissions process for B.Sc. mathematics differs by college. Some institutions offer merit-based admission, while others require an entrance exam. There are a few colleges where you must pass an interview round in order to be admitted.

B.Sc. mathematics is not the same as what we learned in school. There used to be a basic formula in school, and all concepts and questions were based on it. However, mathematics becomes increasingly theoretical in college. There are many theorems and proofs in the curriculum, which provide us a better understanding of how an idea or formula was constructed. Students who excelled in arithmetic in school may struggle to do so after graduation for the reasons stated above. So, before making any decisions, it’s a good idea to take a look at the curriculum.
