That is what Devendra Tamhane is aiming to do through his Chintan Classes.
A popular tuition center in Kalyan West, Thane, Mumbai, Chintan Classes was established in the year 1999. This educational center provides tuition classes for students belonging to 5th to 10th classes, particularly the Maharashtra State Board. Classes are taken in different sessions, in both Marathi and English. The coaching institute also gives coaching for the Maharashtra 7th class scholarship exam, the Homi Bhabha Exam for 6th class students, and National-level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) for students of classes 5th to 10th class.
Apart from curriculum-based coaching, Devendra Tamhane through is Chintan Classes also encourages co-curricular activities through annual Diwali activities, glass painting workshops, and study tours. He makes sure coaching center also arranges regular talks by renowned personalities as well.
Another well noted Edutainment program hosted by his institute is “Vedh”, where successful people of their domain of expertise come and give inspiring talks about their experiences and advice to students.
When the lockdown was imposed due to the unprecedented pandemic situation in 2020, Devendra Tamhane immediately shifted to online classes, so the students’ studies would not be affected. Through his online virtual teaching, more than seven thousand students all over Maharashtra benefitted.
