Indian Army!!! It is the dream of many aspirants to join the Indian army after their studies, for this they try very hard. Many aspirants complete their graduation and then try for the technical entry while some aspirants try for officer rank after their 12th Standard by joining the National Defence Academy(NDA). Some aspirants all want to join and serve the Indian army after the 10th standard. 1. Documentation

The first requirement for joining the Indian army is that the applicant must be a resident of India or a “Tibetan refugee” who came to India before the 1st January 1962, for settling permanently in India, or any person of India, who has migrated from the Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settled in India and have proper documentation of an Indian citizen. If an applicant is the permanent residence of India then he needs to provide residential documents like Aadhar card, Domicile certificate, Voter id card, or Rashan card issued by the state government or central government. Marksheet of the 10th standard is also required to apply for the Indian army.

2. Prepare for the physical test

If any aspirant wants to join the Indian army then the first thing which is required is physical fitness, for this everyone needs to clear the physical test which is conducted by the Indian army during any of the recruitment. Along with the open recruitment if any aspirant wants to join as an officer rank then also he needs to show good physical fitness, which is a must requirement by the Indian army and it must be fulfilled to join the Indian army.

If anyone wants to apply for the Indian army then the first requirement is that he should be physically fit. Medically fitness also plays a vital role in joining the Indian army. If any applicant has even a minor medical issue can lead to rejection of the individual from the army. During a medical checkup, the full body is checked properly and every applicant needs to have each body organ working in the best condition.

There are several requirements that are to be fulfilled by the applicant to join the Indian army but the thing which is required most is the intention to serve the nation by joining the Indian army. the applicant needs to be mentally prepared and mentally strong to join the defense services. There are many jobs where anyone can earn a lot but in the Indian army income is not much but the thing which every individual gets is respect and honor in the society which is more important for all. Confidence is required during the interview which is to be conducted for the selection of every individual.

5. Joining as General Duty Officer

There is an entry for the 10th standard pass aspirant to join the Indian army as General Duty Officer, the requirement for the post is 45 percent in 10th class and more than 33 marks in all the subjects. This recruitment is conducted by the Indian army in different states at an interval of time. In this recruitment, all the participants show their physical fitness and mental stability during the selection process which would be beneficial for them during their job. After this recruitment selected participants go for their training which is for 6 months after which they are deployed as a sepoy in the battalion. An applicant can apply for this job between the age of 17½-23 Years.

6. Join as the Indian Army tradesman

It is also one of the posts for which any person applies with the minimum qualification of the 10th standard. It is also available for ITI diploma holders. In this, the recruitment is conducted by the Indian army by conducting the Indian Army Soldier Tradesman examination. In this post, a person can apply for different jobs like Chef, Dresser, Tailor, Painter, Steward, Artisan (WW), Support Staff (ER) and Washerman; House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce (looks after horses.) and many more similar jobs. An applicant can apply for this job between the age of 17½-23 Years.

7. Try for Officer rank

It is good to do every job but if anyone wants to work as a big officer then he should try for the officer rank, which does not require much qualification other than 12th Standard pass aspirants. There are several job opportunities for the 12th standard pass aspirants. After the 12th a person is eligible for the NDA, IMA, INA, IAF. So it’s good to try for the officer rank just after giving 2 more years and live a good life as an officer in the Indian army.
