Wind turbine technicians are working on the maintenance and installation of wind turbines. When someone reports that the wind turbine is broken, the wind turbine technician climbs about 200-400 feet and repairs the broken part.
We also provide regular diagnostics and inspections to ensure that the wind turbine is functioning properly. The wind turbine technician is also responsible for replacing broken parts of the wind turbine.

- Diagnose problems with wind turbine generators or control systems. Repair the green energy equipment or system. Climb the tower of the
- wind turbine to inspect, maintain and repair the equipment. Climb equipment and structures to access the work area.
- Test the electrical components of a wind turbine using equipment such as voltage testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, infrared testers, and fiber optic equipment. Check if the electrical circuit or component is functioning properly.
- Start or restart the wind turbine generator system to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshooting or repairing mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions associated with variable pitch systems, variable speed control systems, converter systems, or related components. Fixed problems with device or system operation. Repair the green energy equipment or system.
- Keep inventories of tools and parts needed for repair, installation and replacement services. Keep inventory of materials, equipment, or products.
- Performs routine maintenance of wind turbines, underground transmission systems, wind power plant substations, or optical fiber detection and control systems. Maintain work equipment or machinery.
- Test setup, control, or mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical system testing according to a test plan or coordinated with an engineer. Test the electrical equipment or system to make sure it is functioning properly. Test the mechanical system to make sure it is working properly. Train end users, dealers, installers, or other technicians for commissioning, testing, or other technical procedures for
- wind turbines. Train others about operating procedures. Train customers on how to use the product.
- Collect turbine data for testing or investigation and analysis. Measure the output of the device. Inspect or repair
- GRP turbine blades. Inspect the machinery for damage, defects, or wear. Repair the green energy equipment or system.
- Operation of production equipment for the manufacture of wind turbines. Create parts and components.
- Assistance in assembling individual wind turbines or building wind power plants. Assemble the structural parts.

What Skills Do I Require?
Detail oriented
Wind Turbine Technicians must maintain records of all of the services that are performed. Turbine maintenance requires precise measurements, a strict order of operations, and numerous safety procedures. 2.Mechanical skills
Windtechs must understand and be able to maintain and repair all mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems of a turbine.
3.Physical stamina and strength
Wind Technicians must be able to climb to the tops of turbines, often with tools and equipment. Technicians must lift heavy equipment, parts, and tools, some of which weigh in excess of 45 pounds.
4.Troubleshooting skills
Wind turbine technicians need to diagnose and fix problems. If the turbine is not working properly, the technician will need to identify the cause and make any necessary repairs.
5.Good height
Don't be afraid of height and tight space. Wind turbine technicians repair turbines that are over 260 feet high. You need to work in a limited space to access the mechanical parts of the turbine.
