She works closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and serve as advocates for patients and families. Nurses are responsible for assessing patients’ health problems and needs. She provides medical aids to the patients. She works to promote good health, prevent disease, and help patients cope with illnesses. The nurse observes and assesses the patient’s condition and progress and maintains records of the patient’s progress. She administers prescribed medications to the patient at regular intervals. Nurses help patients in their recovering from illness. She also assists physicians. She also does administrative work.
