Sales manager is the person who manages sales department. They are responsible to implement plans for higher profit in the company and thus support the marketing team in developing strategies. They first identify their customers, study the market and based upon that they work in increasing the business.
They also plan the sales projection and work towards achieving the goals territory or region wise. They are also responsible for setting the sales price of their products and analyze competitors’ market and strategy in order to plan their sales workflow.
They can have training period in the companies.
