Primary and Secondary teachers should also take parents expectations into the consideration for making students disciplined and responsible citizens of the nation. If decency as an attitude is enabled in the student’s mind, then automatically it will promote the essence of safety within and beyond the four walls of the school.

For example, a Secondary department English teacher with proficient thinking quality would consider the concepts and the plots of the story before reciting it in the class. Because if the story doesn’t contain any preaching or moral lesson then it is worthless for the students. At least the story should be engaging. So, this example highlights the vital role of critical thinking skills.

  • Technical or Specialized Knowledge in their Discipline- When it comes to teaching higher standard students or college students, the teachers must have extensive knowledge about the specific subject. Because teachers are the source who can enlighten students by sharing their practical expertise and knowledge about the subject. So, that is why some schools ask for M.Ed. degree from the teachers in terms to allow them to teach seniors of the school. As it is a make or break phase for the students and board results of the schools are also on the line.
  • Patience- Teachers or mentors from all levels are aware that diverse cultural values will be represented in the classroom based on capabilities, learning styles, interests, and intellectual skills. Hence, determined students will more likely to take part in the class discussions and be flexible but some of the notorious kids will create challenges for both teachers and themselves by submitting tasks late, by creating a nuisance, or by depleting the learning environment class. So, to tackle such situations, teachers have to be calm and collected. Because through patience only they can reach some sort of conclusion. And through patient, they can also maintain consistency in the classroom. This will bring all the unique talented students together and they all will be able to showcase the talent.

For example- Some students might face problems while solving mathematical problems, a patient teacher must try to understand that the learning process takes time so instead of scolding they must try to make concepts clear and extend the due date of the homework.

To highlight leadership skills, teachers must embrace different tasks also rather than teaching in terms to create a positive image as a dedicated employee in the school. They must motivate students also to take part in extra co-curricular activities.
