Once the goal has been achieved, you have to choose a specialty, that is, the subject you want to specialize in. In simple words, you have to choose the subject you want to teach your students. It can be any subject, like- Biology, English, History, etcetera.
After this is done, you have to choose the level of the students you want to teach. It can be Primary, Secondary, or Higher-Secondary level.
GETTING THE DEGREE, AND GET CERTIFIED– Now, to choose any profession which deals with education, there are certain education requirements we need to fulfill. To become a teacher in India the following requirements need to be fulfilled: –
There are three levels in the teaching degree-
D.Ed. Degree, that is, the Diploma Degree which has to be achieved if you want to teach Primary students.
B. Ed Degree, that is, the Bachelor’s Degree which is required for teaching Secondary level students.
M. Ed Degree, that is, the Master’s Degree, can only be acquired if the person has a B.Ed. Degree. This Degree is essential for any future promotion.
Choose the degree you want and get yourself enrolled in a University or education program which will offer you the Degree.
Clear the examination and get certified.
