St. Xavier’s College is a private autonomous college affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Admission to this college is based on merit and entrance as well.

Established in 1916, Banaras Hindu University is formerly known as Central Hindu College. It is UGC recognized and has been accredited Grade A by NAAC. BHU is ranked 3 by NIRF Universities 2020, also it has given it an overall 10th ranking.
