Lovely Professional University (LPU), located on the outskirts of Jalandhar, Punjab, is a private university. With more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty and staff members, it is the largest single-campus university in India, offering more than 200 programs. Recognized by UGC and is also a member of AIU. The institution is graded by acclaimed bodies on different criteria and is a winner of various prizes, including ASSOCHAM’s Best Private University Award again in 2017, given by Sh. Lovely Professional University is one of Northern India’s main suppliers of student placement assistance. Placements are administered by a team called the Employment Resources section. The goal of this team is to help students acquire sufficient job experience to support their academic studies and to learn suitable skills and expertise to be prepared to work in partnership with the best minds in the industries. Recruitment activities and job fairs are set up periodically by the Work Resources Branch. In addition to this, abundant resources such as resume writing sessions, career counselling programs, and seminars for aptitude growth are also provided to students to improve placement prospects.
