You can engage in regular mental exercises or challenging games to develop a stronger brain which strengthens your brain and makes you more productive, creative, and ready to take on new challenges.

1. Use Your Non-Dominant Hand More Often

Most of us believe that we need to take special supplements and tonics for ensuring proper functioning of our body and a sound mind. But this is not exactly true. Yes, some additional supplements might help you achieve some deficiencies but it doesn’t ensure a sound and healthy mind.

You can also include nuts, especially almonds in your diet for healthier brain cells function and building the cell membranes. You should also add more healthy juices instead of soda or cold drinks and drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated and your brain healthy.

4. Practice Crossover Exercises

Not only using your non-dominant hand but also trying to engage in more crossover exercises can help your brain function more smoothly. This means you need to keep interacting the right part of your body with the left one.

For example, you can try touching your left toe with your right hand and your right knee with your left hand. You need to make sure that you’re doing it regularly and properly with every body part. And you also need to make sure you’re doing these exercises in a proper manner. These are very simple yet very effective to ensure your brain is in a healthy state.

5. Try To Be Creative And Spontaneous

One of the most important technique to make your mind function effectively is to always try and think out of the box. You can try several techniques like creating your own stories or engaging in extracurricular activities like drawing, painting, sports, etc.

And talking and sharing also releases the stress hormones from your body and makes you feel more positive. Another important technique is to always look at the positive side of everything and develop a happy mind-set.
