Full-stack web developer

To become a full-stack developer, you need to know front-end technologies, how to design a user interface, and create an application. You need to learn backend development which is the server-side code. It takes care of all the business processes and handling all the transactions between the database and the frontend. You then need to know how to create a database and how to interact with the database using your code. A full-stack developer is a person who knows how to program the browser. Aspirants need to know JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, React, PHP, python, java, SQL, and so on to make a complete application. Also, you need to know what is called a software stack like LAMP stack which means you know JavaScript, Linux, Apache, MySql, and Php.

DevOps engineer

DevOps is a compound word coming from the two words, the development, and the operations. DevOps is neither a tool, software, or a programming language. DevOps is more like working your way from the development side into the production stage. The concept is used in application lifecycle management. The demand for DevOps engineers will be pretty high in 2021. DevOps engineers have experience in architecting or automating and optimizing mission-critical deployments over a large infrastructure. Aspirants should know Scripting, cloud, and Linux, continuous monitoring tools, software containerization platform knowledge, and experience in developing CICD Pipelines, etc. Python, Docker, AWS, Splunk, and so on are courses students go for. At the beginner level, you can earn between 3 lakhs to 19 lakhs per annum.

RPA (Robotic Process Automation) developer

RPA is a technology where you have to automate the manual tasks using the RPA tools. It is not a theory-based subject but is based on experience and practical work. RPA developers are designers of those automation tasks. UiPath, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere are the top three tools. Aspirants need these skills- .NET, C#, VB scripting, SQL, etc. You also need good knowledge of the RPA lifecycle and how to produce automation, communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, etc. They work for start-ups to hyper-growth companies such as IBM, Infosys, KPGM, etc. RPA jobs are hard to replace. RPA systems are easy to learn. The average salary of RPA developers in India is 5lakhs to 6 lakhs.

Mobile application developer

The mobile usage application is growing vigorously. With a bachelor’s degree in computer, you can become a mobile application developer. In interviews, the most common questions are design patterns, serializable, debugging, etc.

You can become an ios developer or android developer. Mobile user interface design, cross-platform app development, programming skills, design, development, and so on. Skills aspirants should have to develop desktop or mobile applications like Quora, Facebook, etc. You need to learn python, swift, react native, Kotlin, Objective C, etc. Good knowledge of restful API, libraries like a retrofit, mobile UX pattern, debugging tools is required. Salary varies according to city, experience, and skills. An average package of students goes from 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs.

Software architect

Every system has a software architect, their job is to make sure that the concerns of stakeholders are met. A student with a computer degree and certification course can pursue this job. A software architect is the core member of the technology team. They should know about programming concepts, database, Java, designing, developing, AWS, analysis skills, communication skills, and so on. So that they can use all these concepts to complete projects with quality.

It is the highest level job and responsible job role in the software industry. With skills, experience, and promotion every three years, you can become a software architect. In India, the software architect is a demanding career scope. An average monthly salary is up to 2 lakhs and, the minimum salary is 80,000 rupees. You can get job roles in the automobile industry, software industry, and government sector. You can work for Maruti, Hyundai, BMW, Google, Apple, Zomato, etc.
