He laid the stepping stone for this organization during his teenage that gradually spread its wings all over the country. Today OYO rooms are known by each one of us as India’s fastest-growing chains of hotels. He was born in Orissa in a business class family. He always had a desire to look for new opportunities and grab them easily. He usually works from dusk to dawn to achieve his goal and thereby making a change in this society by his huge contribution through his new concept of giving comfortable accommodation to all the tourists.
So you might be thinking that how the idea of opening OYO rooms came to the mind of such a young boy? Let me tell you, firstly he traveled across the country and somewhere found the shortage of the economical hotels. Then at the age of 17, he founded Oravel Travels that later turned out to be OYO rooms. Now, you can see that due to his initiative, many travelers can get the cheapest yet standardized accommodation. Also, from his experience, he found that most people ended up finding the expensive hotels that somewhere creates economic imbalance during their trip. When his venture started growing eventually, it motivated him to extend the business through online modes as well to build the social community, and people from different places get to know about the hotels. After that, he partnered with many former CEOs of prestigious brands with the same concept of providing safe and healthy accommodation. Those further converted to one of the lavish places having a spa, swimming pool, food, and many other facilities.
Being India’s first technology-driven chain of standardized and budget-friendly hotels, they have shown their existence in more than 25 cities with more than 4000 rooms with 350+ hotels.
We can undoubtedly say, that Ritesh Agarwal has set the perfect example for all teenagers. It thus, proved, if you are motivated and you have the stubbornness to achieve your goals. No force can stop you from attaining that. All you need is to be focused on in your life and make long-term plans to have a clear vision regarding the efforts required for achieving them.
