Ajit Doval is a great Indian secret agent who has survived various deadly operations and returned home safe throughout his career. If any of you want a glorious career like his, this article is great to guide you through the process.
How to Get to the Field
This can be achieved by two processes. One can first opt for the UPSC CSE examinations and get enrolled in the IPS service. Officers of the IPS after a tenure of 8-10 years are transferred to the more senior branches of intelligence like the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Not just this, officers even work in combined force units and departments of RAW India to pursue projects and investigation missions.
Right Skill = Bright Future
The second method is to appear for SSC CGL examination and be an early recruit straight into bodies like the CBI and the NIA after a rigorous period of training. The SSC CGL is conducted in 3 tiers and it is an examination very hard to crack especially because of the very less number of candidates that are selected or less number of seats available.
Even when one gets into these services, it is difficult to get posted as a secret or undercover agent because these posts are solely on the basis of performance and do not have set standards that can be tested through a test. The qualities required for such posts are solely practical and less academic.
